Forward your calls to VoiceMenus: Google Voice

What forwarding does

Forwarding means: when you do not pick up, your phone company sends the call to your VoiceMenus number instead of its own voicemail. Your phone still rings first. You keep your number. You can turn it off any time.

Turn it on

Google Voice cannot hand calls to an automated line like VoiceMenus. If your business number is a Google Voice number, use one of these instead:

  • forward the calls from your cell phone's carrier (use the Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile page for your real cell number), or
  • if you use Google Workspace Voice (paid), your admin can add your VoiceMenus number to the ring group's "unanswered calls" setting.

Turn it off

Nothing to turn off in Google Voice. If you set forwarding with your carrier, turn it off on your carrier's page.

If it does not work

Tell us your setup and we will suggest the simplest path.

We're still confirming this step with a real account. If what you see is different, email support@voicemenus.com and we'll update this page.

Test it

Call your business number from a different phone and do not answer. After the rings, you should hear your VoiceMenus menu. If you hear your old voicemail, or nothing, the setting did not take. Try again, or tell us your carrier and we will help.

Heads up: your carrier may bill forwarded calls like any other call on your plan. Most plans with unlimited minutes cost nothing extra.
