Add your greeting to Nextiva
Which files to use
Use the WAV files from your greeting pack: phone-system WAV files (8 kHz mu-law). Nextiva does not accept MP3. For a menu, use the welcome and options files plus one file per key. The README.txt in your pack says which file goes where.
Where to click
- For a voicemail greeting, upload the file on your user's greeting settings.
- For an auto attendant, upload the files at the location level so every auto attendant can use them.
- Assign the menu files to the matching auto attendant options.
Nextiva accepts only phone-system WAV files (8 kHz mu-law) under 2 MB. Our WAV files are made for this.
Nextiva support can also upload a file for you; it takes 24 to 48 hours.
When your greeting changes
We email you when new files are ready. Download them from the VoiceMenus app (they have the same names), upload each one in the same place, then delete the old one.
